Responsibilities
- Design and development of backend services and systems
- Develop microservices and RESTful APIs to support existing systems
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, UX designers to build features and products
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
- 0-3 years working experience in system design and development. Fresh graduates with passion are welcome to apply
- Experience in developing applications in PHP or Node.js with modern MVC framework (e.g., Symfony, Laravel, Express.js) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of relational database architecture and performance, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Learn quickly and pick up new technologies
- Work independently and on a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Comfortable working on Linux platform
- Experience in using Docker
- Experience with AWS or similar public cloud service provider
- Good knowledge in front-end development technology such as JavaScript and React
